In addition, the United States is an increasingly diverse popluation.  There are significant numbers of women and infants who are unable to obtain culturally sensitive and appropriate perinatal services. The National Perinatal Foundation believes that high quality, culturally sensitive perinatal health is a need and should be a right of all individuals.
